Walk into a bookstore or antique store and nearby objects help you understand where you are. myPromenade brings that context to large digital collections, so you can explore hundreds of items with gestures instead of scrolling through a few at a time.

Live eBay search is the concrete front door. Search for something real, then move through a spatial field where relevance, neighboring items, and your own visual memory can lead to useful comparisons and unexpected finds. When an item interests you, open its live eBay listing to learn more or purchase it.

New in 3.1: From Results to Collections

For the first time, a presented result set can become something you shape. Assemble and group items, edit what belongs, preserve the result, send it, and explore the Collection with others.

• Collect and group in place: turn browsing into an editable arrangement without losing the surrounding context.
• Review in the Rolodex: move through selected items in a focused, card-by-card view.
• Save a portable document: a .myprocollection file is a user-controlled artifact that can be saved, reopened, and sent through normal Apple document-sharing mechanisms.

Three Sources, Three Interactions

• Galleries: ArtSmart.com began in 1997 as an internet art environment. Its Image Content Management System (ICMS) galleries use artist-authored, embedded SQL data to support the richest semantic categories and animated, real-time regrouping.
• eBay: live search provides breadth, purchasing, and antique-store serendipity. Seller data can be shallow or inconsistent, so spatial relevance and adjacency help people compare and remember what they have seen.
• Amazon: curated, pre-added items provide richer controlled product detail. This source does not offer arbitrary live search and has less category richness than the gallery model.

Explore, Shared Explore, and Ambient

Explore is intentional: move, zoom, compare, regroup, and build a Collection while retaining the map around you. Shared Explore adds two ways to continue with other people: a Share Link/Journey for reopening later, and SharePlay Beta for live co-exploration over FaceTime. SharePlay session start or end can occasionally be unreliable. Ambient lets the field move continuously, surfacing patterns and discoveries while you watch.

A Working Demonstration

myPromenade is both a usable product and current engineering evidence. Built across Apple platforms, it demonstrates spatial navigation, durable document-based state, real-time and asynchronous sharing, reusable Swift packages, and interaction patterns that can be discussed with product teams, engineering colleagues, clients, and potential partners.
