How is a Share Link or Journey different?

A Share Link points to service-backed Journey state so another person can reopen the exploration later. It is asynchronous and is not the same as sending the portable Collection document.

What does SharePlay Beta do?

SharePlay Beta supports live co-exploration over FaceTime. Participants can explore together during a session, although session start or end can occasionally be unreliable.

A Collection is no longer only transient app state or a server-backed Journey. In myPromenade 3.1 it can also become a portable artifact that you own, save, reopen, and send.

Shared exploration can mean carrying your work with you, inviting someone to reopen it later, or walking through it together now. myPromenade keeps those mechanisms distinct so each one has a clear purpose.

Three Ways to Continue an Exploration

SharePlay Beta supports live co-exploration over FaceTime. Talk while you browse, compare what catches your attention, and let the conversation become part of discovery. Session start or end can occasionally be unreliable, which is why the feature remains visibly Beta.
