ColorfulThunder transforms your iPhone or iPad into a synchronized color organ - where sound becomes light and rhythm turns visual.
ColorfulThunder is a synesthetic experience - blending audio, rhythm, and visual light into one. Each note in the octave corresponds to a color. We call them ColorNotes, and they can be composed into looping ColorTunes and shared across devices to create immersive, communal displays.
Originally created in Objective-C, ColorfulThunder features real-time sync via atomic clock (NTP), collaborative programming of ColorTunes, and sharing via email or AirDrop. It's a party game, a teaching tool, a performance art instrument, and a branding beacon — all in one.
Like Moog's original synthesizer, which only reached mass adoption once it connected to a keyboard, ColorfulThunder is ready for its next evolution: MIDI input support, sound synthesis, and web-broadcasted ColorTunes for entire stadiums to light up in harmony.
- ✨ Education: Teach colors, rhythm, and timing through interactive feedback
- 🎉 Social Play: Sync ColorTunes with friends for live color-based games
